How To Make More Money In Your Online Business Without More ...

more blog trafficThere?s a common question many of my members ask me ? how do I make more money without having to generate more traffic. Traffic is the lifeline of your business but it is hard work. People spend thousands, even hundreds of thousands of dollars to drive traffic to their business.

But what people tend to miss is the step after you?ve generated the traffic. How do you turn visitors into leads and leads into buyers or customers? The answer in a nutshell is simple:

It comes down to conversion.

How well can you convert leads into buyers. If you can find a way to convert 10 out 100 people instead of 5 out of 100 people you will make more money with the same amount of work. Do this and you will not need as much traffic.

Here?s the reality?

The vast majority of people who follow you blog, land on your capture pages or join your email list will never buy a single product from you?don?t take it personal. It happens to the million dollar marketers as well as the marketers who are just getting started.

Ask ANY online entrepreneur if their offers are converting at a rate higher than 10% on a consistent basis and you?ll be pressed to find anyone who says YES.

Now this doesn?t mean that they are not converting a high number of people during big product launches where tons of affiliates are blasting their offer to their own list?but on an everyday basis it doesn?t happen.

A 2 -3% conversion rate is ideal. meaning for every 100 people that get in front of your offer, 2 or 3 of them will buy. That is considered awesome.

So here is the question. What happens to the 97% that do not buy your product or service?

1. More than likely they will leave your site, leave your sales page and you won?t see them ever again.

So here are two questions to ask yourself

1. Why are they not buying?
2. Why are they not returning?

People do not make the decision to buy because they do not want what you have to offer?in fact if they landed on you site, blog or lead capture page it is because they were searching for relevant information related to what your site gives via google or an ad or some other source. So they were interested enough to click the link leading them to your website?

Ok. so understand that they do want solutions, they do want to buy?if they didn?t they would have never visited your site.

So Why are they not taking action and buying?

1. They may still have questions
2. They may not immediately see the value or how your site can benefit them
3. They may be resistant because of the price
4. They may need to think about it
5. They may want to compare similar products
6. They may not trust you

All of these objection can be minimized or completely eliminated with relationship marketing. When you get a chance to share who you are, what you are all about and how you can help your audience, all of the objections will disappear.

So Why are they not returning to your site?

The Internet offers a million and one different options. Your site is more than likely not the only go-to resource in your industry or niche and people are easily distracted.

I?ve done this many of times?Come across an awesome site. Then I get distracted, I leave hoping to return at a later time? but then as time goes by and I want to find that really cool site again with all the awesome info ? I can?t find it, or I didn?t book mark it, or I think about it one day and then I get busy?

1. Get Distracted
2. Get Busy
3. Can?t remember the name of your site
4. Get drawn to other offers

People who are interested in your offer are not just on your list, they are on this email list over here, and this one and this one. And they may see the same or a similar product offered by one or more of your competitors?so it?s not that they didn?t want to buy from you but because of convenience and timing they just happened to make the decision to buy when they saw that offer for the 7th time on so-an-so?s list.

5. Another reason why they do not return is because they are desperately trying to find you, putting in your name in Google, but then what happens? They find a competitor of yours first. If you are no on the first page of Google then it takes a lot for people to scour through pages and pages of search results just to find you, when they can get what they want or something similar on the first page. So that is why it?s important to learn search engine optimization, to rank for target keywords, or buying keywords related to your niche.

To overcome these issues you have to do the following:

You have to maximize your time with your visitors?

So how do you do that?

1. You are going to offer more information via email
2. Use an irresistible offer to get them on your list. A free report, an audio a video training. Something they get access to once they exchange their name and email address.
3. Personalize and relate to your target prospect once they get on your list, You have to answer any and all questions that may be keeping your lead from buying. You have to get into their minds and convince them that they are making a good choice.
4. You have to solve their problems.
5. You must eliminate their fears. People are emotional creatures. We buy and make decisions based on emotion and defend it based on logic?
6. Ask for the business. If you don?t ask?if you don?t tell people you want to help them, solve their problems, work with them so they can see results you can lose out on an opportunity. Don?t be so nonchalant or cool to the point where you don?t think you have to ask or the business.

Your job is to reach out to your prospect and let them know you want them to join your business, you want them to buy your product, you want them to sign up for your service.

And you can do this by setting up a system that allows you to automated the follow up process, automate the relationship building process and therefore automate your income.
